About the english course

This has been my first semester taking english in the university and personally I have been quite surprised by the classes we have had, since the general experience I have had throughout the course has been very good. I feel that the activities that we do in each class, talking with your classmates and writing about different topics have been activities that personally have helped me to feel comfortable and have fun with what I'm learning. 

Regarding blogs, which are a new way of learning for me, I like them a lot. I feel they are a great way to improve vocabulary and writing skills. I also think it is a very good space to share with your classmates and learning about the different things that they like or think. 

Personally, I think I need to improve speaking and writing in english. I think that to improve speaking in english I need to patiently control my nervousness and dare to practice it with different people. Regarding writing I think I need to stop questioning so much whether or not I use the right words and simply dare to write, thinking that even in spanish I make mistakes when I write. 

Outside of class, english appears in my daily life in movies, series and music. In none of these three cases I use this things for learning the language. However recently I have been trying to watch series and movies without subtitles to see if I can understand the different conversations without translation, so far it has been working pretty well for me.
